36.line Grill Restaurant. Jurmala, Latvia

Being a favorite restaurant of locals and guests of Jurmala, 36. line is calling one to enjoy exquisite dishes with a view of the Gulf of Riga. In 2025, the venue was included in the prestigious Michelin Guide for the second time.

The restaurant is located in a picturesque place on the seashore surrounded by sand dunes and a pine forest. Guests can dine in the hall with panoramic windows or on the terrace. The terrace is equipped with a sliding roof, so in sunny weather you can enjoy the warmth and be protected from the rain. In the evening, you can witness beautiful sunsets, and at night the beach near the restaurant is illuminated.

The menu offers a variety of European dishes, many of which are charcoal grilled, which adds a special taste.

The basis of the À la carte menu is the favorite time-tested dishes of the restaurant guests. Meanwhile, the team led by chef Lauris Alekseev always has something to surprise you with — new dishes appear on the menu regularly.

We would like to point out the restaurant’s new set: a four-course tasting menu. Its special feature is that you can choose from 3-4 options for each dish, and the set costs only 49 euros.

You can add a selection of wines or soft drinks to the tasting menu. A new drink is served with each of the four dishes.

The dishes are prepared using various spices, which gives them a rich unconventional taste. The presentation and service also deserve the highest praise.

In summer, we recommend paying attention to the signature cocktails and mocktails. The wine list was compiled by a professional sommelier and has received several prestigious awards.

On the first floor of the restaurant, there is a small hall for 40 people l, making it a perfect ption for a corporate dinner, a small wedding or birthday. All halls can also be rented for a larger private event; the restaurant organizes off-site banquets too.

In summer, the restaurant hosts live music evenings, and on May 27-28, you can enjoy Maria Naumova’s creative evenings and a special 5-course menu.
