African beach and promenade in Haapsalu, Estonia
One of the most beautiful places in the city, with a true gem: the carved wooden Kursaal.
The promenade starts from African Beach and ends with the Chocolate Promenade, named after a cafe that used to reside there.
On the embankment, you can find a sundial, a monument to Karl Hunnius, the discoverer of Haapsalu healing mud, a bench of the famous composer Tchaikovsky, and the only bird-watching platform in the city.
Children playground is available for visitors too.
