This is the largest entertainment science center in the Baltic States for both children and adults. You can make discoveries in AHHAA all day long by exploring endless halls, exhibits, and attractions.

The mission of the center is to show that science is not boring. The center’s motto is: “Think playfully!” Everything in AHHAA is done in such a way that visitors not only get acquainted with science but literally touch it with their own hands. Even if you have been here before, the complex will surprise you as the expositions are constantly updated with new objects. By visiting different halls and interacting with installations, you will learn more about the natural sciences and will have hundreds of reasons to exclaim “Ahaa!”

The complex includes several permanent and temporary exhibitions, as well as a planetarium. Permanent exhibitions are based in the foyer, technology room, and wildlife room. A mirror labyrinth, distorting mirrors, a model of a real rocket, an astronaut simulator, a bike ride over a rope, experiments with water, getting to know different animals, and much more await guests when visiting the permanent exhibitions.

Now AHHAA is hosting a temporary exhibition of the medical collections of the University of Tartu. The oldest exhibit is over 200 years old! You will get acquainted with the human anatomy; the exhibition will be of particular interest to adults. Children under 12 can only enter if accompanied by their parents.

In the planetarium, you can watch breathtaking films about stars and space. AHHAA also regularly hosts scientific workshops, for example, those dedicated to microbiology and genetics.

If you feel like having a bite, visit the Newton Café on the second floor. And in the science store, you can buy exciting educational games to continue getting into science at home.
