Allikukivi Wine Manor. Estonia

This beautiful place in the south of Estonia suggests exploring an old manor, enjoying wine tasting, walking in the park, and taking the opportunity to spend the night glamping in summer. The complex is located 40 minutes’ drive from Pärnu.

Allikukivi Manor is an impressive brick building with neo-Gothic elements built in 1870. Over the years, the function of the building has changed several times: first it was a private mansion, later there was a community center, a school and a library, and since 2016, the complex has belonged to private owners who produce berry and fruit wines from Estonian products.

A visit to a wine estate is a great idea for a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or an informal corporate event.

The owners of the mansion will give you a tour, tell you about the history of the estate, show you the gardens where the ingredients for the wines grow, get you to the restored cellar where the wine is produced and conduct a wine tasting. Families with children are invited to play various adventure games in the historical park.

The Allikukivi estate produces 5 types of fruit and berry wines: raspberry, currant, apple wine, as well as wines from rhubarb and rowan; a total of more than 10,000 liters per year. After the tasting, you can visit the store at the estate and buy the wine you like to take home. In addition, if you book the estate in advance, you will be served coffee and homemade pastries after the wine.

During summer, guests have a unique opportunity to stay overnight on the estate: from 1 May until the end of August, Allikukivi has four glamping tents available; they are located a little further from the estate, so you can enjoy the sounds of nature and a beautiful view. The tent can accommodate 2 to 4 people, the price includes breakfast, and dinner can be ordered for an extra fee.
