Aukštaiti narrow-gauge railway in Panevėžys, Lithuania
The Aukštaiti 75 cm-wide railway line Panevėžys – Anyksciai – Rubikiai was opened in 1899.
15 trains regularly utilized the railway for the purposes of transporting timber and passengers.
In 1996, the narrow-gauge railway to the north of Panevezys were closed and included in the register of immovable national property of the Republic of Lithuania with a status of cultural heritage.
Today, it serves for tourist passenger transportation between the cities of Panevėžys and Rubikiai.
