This unique place in the heart of Old Tallinn, where beer is brewed right in the restaurant hall, has been operating since 2002 and has long been a favorite place for both locals and visitors to the capital. Guests appreciate it for its delicious food, lively atmosphere and friendly service. Every Friday and Saturday you are welcome to enjoy live music evenings.

The restaurant’s interior is designed in Austrian style. The place is very stylish and features many curious details. The hall has brewing equipment and is conveniently zoned: for small companies of up to 8 people, there are seats designed as separate houses, so guests may enjoy privacy accompanied by the overall lively vibes.

Beer in Beer House is brewed according to 16th century recipes brought from Bavaria. Guests can watch the brewing process right in the main hall: wort is prepared in front of visitors and transferred to special containers, where fermentation and maturation take place. The full cycle takes 27-28 days. The restaurant’s beer menu includes six varieties of unfiltered and unpasteurized beer; honey beer and Beer House Premium are especially popular among them.

Beer House cuisine is inspired by traditional Central European dishes. The menu is designed in such a way that the dishes go perfectly with beer. We recommend trying:
– crispy pork shank with sauerkraut,
– beef goulash soup in a bread pot,
– pork carré with grilled vegetables,
– braised beef shank with baked vegetables,
– duck leg confit,
– spicy herring on warm rye bread with caraway seeds,
– homemade bread ice cream,
– cookie dessert with caramel, peanuts and butter cream in a chocolate tube.

Beer House is able to conveniently host an event of any format. The building also has two additional private banquet halls – Rae Meierei and Korsaar – where you can host a birthday or wedding party, a corporate event, or celebrate any other occasion with an entertainment program and a DJ, if you wish. The restaurant team will also help you organize magnificent catering. Banquet halls operate by prior booking only.
