White Castle in Baldone, Latvia
This white castle with two towers, a large terrace in front of the entrance, a fountain and a park around is one of the most remarkable objects in the city of Baldone, built in 1901 by the forester Mitskevich.
During the First World War, military hospitals were located here; later, an orphanage, a sanatorium and a hostel used to host here. Now, a music school is operating in the castle.
