LITHUANIA:

– Botanical Garden of Vilnius University, located in an old estate, is the largest in Lithuania in terms of area and number of plants, featuring an impressive collection of rhododendrons. 

– Kaunas Botanical Garden embraces a wide variety of local plants and especially many peonies (bloom in early June)

– Botanical Garden of Klaipeda University is an interesting site where sand dune conditions are recreated

– Botanical Garden of Šiauliai University features one of the largest collections of endangered plants in Lithuania

 

LATVIA:

– Botanical Garden of the University of Latvia (Riga) has greenhouses, park area and the Butterfly House

– The National Botanical Garden of Latvia (Salaspils) is one of the largest in the Baltic countries, famous for its state-of-the-art greenhouse

 

ESTONIA:

– Tallinn Botanical Garden features a collection of exotic plants, rhododendrons, roses and the Palm House

– Botanical Garden of the University of Tartu is the oldest botanical garden in the Baltic States, existing for more than 200 years
