Bruknas Manor, Latvia
The estate represents a unique complex with a rich history and a special atmosphere. The manor house was built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the 19th century. After the agrarian reform in Latvia, a school was opened in the estate, having operated until 1966.
Currently, the estate belongs to a public organization. Here, you can stroll through the Renaissance-style garden filled with vegetables and herbs. There is also a church here, which was built with the help of donations; the entrance to it is bare feet only.
In 2019, near the church, 12 sculptures of the apostles in modern clothes were open to the public.
