Buržujs lifestyle restaurant and oyster bar is a true paradise for seafood and oyster fans. Here, you will always find the freshest oysters as well as exquisite European cuisine.

Buržujs is located in the very center of Riga, within walking distance of all the main attractions of the city. The stylish hall is distinguished by convenient zoning and beautiful blue accents reminiscent of the sea. In summer, a terrace in a quiet courtyard is open, so you can enjoy your meal with a lovely outdoor vibe or hide in the shade on a hot day and refresh.

The restaurant has two menus: à la carte and oyster. The à la carte menu offers various appetizers, main courses and desserts. Guests appreciate this place for the sophistication of the dishes and exceptional combinations of flavors. We recommend trying:
– Hereford beef tartare with quail egg,
– scallop sashimi,
– grilled octopus,
– ostrich burger.

The oyster menu includes nine types, which can be ordered individually or in a selection of 6 or 12, with matching sauces. Buržujs offers oysters from La Famille Boutrais farm being grown in France and Ireland.

The dishes are distinguished not only by an amazing combination of flavors, but also by their excellent presentation. The aesthetics of the dishes adds a final touch to the pleasure of the unique gastronomic experience.

One of the restaurant’s traditions is the annual Oyster Festival, which takes place twice a year, in May and September. On May 17 from 12:00 to 21:00, the 15th Oyster Festival will take place, where guests will be able to try 12 different types of oysters and enjoy an extensive, interesting program. You will be able to witness the first Baltic Oyster Opening Championship and try street food dishes with seafood. The event is family-friendly: the program includes music, creative workshops for children, face art and much more.
