A cozy English-style pub located in a quiet area of ​​Pärnu is a great place for both friendly meet-ups and family dinners. Its chilled vibes are calling to have some rest after a walk, enjoy dinner with the whole family or spend an evening with a glass of beer in the company of friends.

The pub is housed in a historical 19th-century building, once the home of Carl Friedrich Hahn, the city’s renowned head gardener, who – together with Mayor Brackmann – designed and established all of Pärnu’s parks.

In 1890, his son Herbert Hahn was born in the same house. He would later become a prominent German pedagogue, writer and translator – one of the first Waldorf teachers and a close collaborator of Rudolf Steiner. After WWII, he played a key role in reviving Waldorf education in Germany and remained a leading voice in anthroposophical culture and philosophy until his retirement in 1961.

Today, the building is recognized as a cultural monument of Estonia. Inside, the atmosphere of the old mansion has been preserved: wooden furniture, soft lighting and a cozy atmosphere invite you to a leisurely meal. In the summer, a large covered terrace with a children’s corner is open – ideal for fresh air dining with the whole family. Right next to the terrace is a spacious outdoor playground, where children can safely enjoy themselves while parents relax.

Guests love this place for its lively atmosphere, friendly service and, of course, delicious food.

The menu will please lovers of hearty and conventional cuisine embracing meat and fish options, pasta, hearty snacks and hot dishes at affordable prices. We especially recommend trying:
– salmon soup,
– salad with duck fillet,
– grilled pork neck with mustard,
– pike perch.

Every day, from 11:00 to 15:00, there is a special lunch offer available. You can choose one course (first or second) or go for one of the set lunches to your taste.

The beverage list is extensive too: the pub offers many types of draft and bottled local and craft beer as well as ciders, wines and other drinks. The staff is always eager to help you choose a drink to your taste.

C.F. Hahn is perfect for private events: there is a separate room for 50 people, where you can hold a birthday, corporate event and other celebration.

The pub regularly hosts live music evenings, quizzes, sports broadcasts and much more. It is a favourite place for many locals and visitors to Pärnu.
