On the Dome Square, with the first Advent, the main Christmas tree of Riga turned its lights up, and a Christmas market emerged, embracing 80+ participants.
Here, you can try traditional Latvian dishes, piparkukas (gingerbread), pancakes, wines from local producers and the most festive drink of them all – mulled wine.
You can also get acquainted with the products of Latvian craftsmen and find gifts for yourself and your loved ones.
On weekends, various musical performances are held, and Santa Claus hangs out around with a gang of gnomes.
The Christmas market in Old Riga will run until January 1, 2023.
