Christ’s Resurrection Basilica (Kauno Kristaus Prisikėlimo bazilika), Lithuania
The largest basilica in the Baltic countries accommodates about 5,000 people. The construction of the church was finally completed in 2005. The basilica looks quite unusual, but inside everything is very simple, in a minimalist style.
The church has two towers. On the top level of the main tower, there is a chapel.
You can take the elevator to the roof and see the panorama of the city. The church stands on the top of the green hill of Kaunas, Žaliakalnis.
