Dunikas swamp trail, Latvia
Being 5.5-meter long, Dunikas trail is one of the longest bog trails in Europe. It is located in the Dunika nature reserve and passes through a 7,000-year-old swamp.
Walking along the trail, you can see many beautiful and unique landscapes with small lakes and islands.
At the end of the trail, there is the only grove in Latvia where hornbeam trees grow.
At the moment, the trail is closed for reconstruction until the end of the year.
