Educational dendrological trail near Juodkrante. Kursk Spit, Lithuania

On the way to Juodkrante, you can stop for a walk along the educational dendrological trail and find several interesting objects in the dense forest:

• The Sound Trap, an impressive wooden structure resembling a megaphone. By putting your ear to a narrow hole or stepping into a wide one, you can hear the melody of the forest: various sounds that cannot be caught by ear.

• Juodkrante lighthouse, a coastal lighthouse, located about a kilometer from the coast of the Baltic Sea, on a sandy hill “Witch Mountain” with centuries-old pines. Beware: getting on its top is restricted.

• Chair for two, an observation deck with a beautiful view of the Curonian Lagoon.

We recommend planning at least a couple of hours to spend on searching for objects and walking along the trail.
