Elephant family in Pärnu Beach Park, Estonia

In the 1950s, two large wooden elephants were established on the beach to slide down into the water. After a while, the boards rotted, and the elephants were taken away from the beach.

In 2013, the figure of an elephant was again installed in the sea in honor of the 175th anniversary of the Pärnu resort.

After a while, the city gardener noticed the lonely standing elephant, and this is how three more elephants from artificial grass appeared in Pärnus Beach Park. The figures were installed and manufactured by Topiart OÜ.

Nowadays, the elephant family welcomes visitors to the park all year round.
