Exotic terrarium MiniZoo. Pärnu, Estonia
This private terrarium in the center of Pärnu is a home to 50 different species of animals. Many of the species presented in the MiniZoo collection are unique, so you will not see them in other zoos and terrariums in the Baltics.
MiniZoo is located next to Valli and Munamäe parks. There is a parking lot nearby, which is convenient if you are traveling by car. A visit to the terrarium will be interesting for both children and adults: the guide will tell you about all the inhabitants, their features and lifestyle.
MiniZoo has three halls in total, where crocodiles, tegus, monitor lizards, iguanas, turtles, tarantulas, fish and many types of snakes live. The zoo is famous for its poisonous inhabitants nowhere else to be found in the Baltic countries and even in Europe. Pets are brought here from all over the world.
The terrarium hosts snakes of different sizes, from small ones that can fit in the palm of your hand to large pythons and boas. The bravest visitors may be offered by the guide to hold some of the inhabitants, like a small python. Children just love this experience!
Sometimes the MiniZoo inhabitants give birth to babies. Then visitors can literally see the first steps of newborn animals. For example, now the MiniZoo is expecting enlargement of the crocodile family, and in a separate aquarium you can see babies a little older than six months.
In addition to the animals themselves, in the terrarium you can explore interesting exhibits, such as crocodile eggs and shed snake skin.
The exotic MiniZoo terrarium is a great opportunity to learn more about the diversity of the animal world and be surprised by how nature works. The zoo is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday.
