The main Christmas tree has beern installed in the Town Hall Square in Kaunas, together with a Christmas market of glass pavilions.
The tree in Kaunas was decorated by the artist J. Schmitdene who was inspired by the film Trail of Angels” by the Lithuanian artist and composer M. K. Čiurlionis. The tree is meant to reflect coziness, warmth and hope.
The Christmas tree is decorated with 40 stars and a Polar Star at the top.
