Home » Объекты » Gediminas’ Castle Tower, Lithuania

One of the main attractions of Vilnius is Gediminas’ Tower located on Castle Hill, named to honor the founder of Vilnius, Prince of Lithuania Gediminas.

Nowadays, the tower houses a museum where you may learn the history of the city, explore models of castles, armor, weapons and archaeological finds.

You can climb to the top on foot or by cable car.
There are two observation platforms, one of which is located under the tower, and the other one on the roof.

Here, you can enjoy magnificent views of Vilnius: on one side, the red roofs of the old city, and on the other, modern skyscrapers along with the Neris River.
