Gray dunes (Dead dunes) in Neringa, Lithuania
The highest flashing sand dunes in Europe are located on a narrow Curonian spit, between a Pervalka and a Juodkrante, and reach a height of 60 meters. Four villages and two cemeteries rest under the dunes.
Today, it is a quiet place to have a peaceful walk and feel as if you are a desert.
The National Park with Dunes is protected by the state.
