Haapsalu Kuursaal Restaurant in Haapsalu, Estonia

This unique summer restaurant, located in a picturesque place on the shore of the Tagalaht Bay of Haapsalu, is famous not only for delicious food but also for its rich cultural program and featuring in the White Guide Nordic list. Haapsalu Kuursaal is open from June 1st to September 1st.

Literally, the name translates as Haapsala resort hall. The restaurant building established in the 19th century has a rich history. Today it is the only Kursaal that has survived in its original form: a beautiful wooden building with a stage included in the National Register of Cultural Monuments.

The a la carte menu has been carefully designed by the chef team, especially for this venue. It includes a variety of familiar dishes delivered in an exceptional way. For example, you can try the unique Notsu ot Kuursaal truffle sausage, partridge schnitzel and the special Summer Haapsalu dessert here.

We recommend trying:
– salmon with fried cauliflower cream,
– avocado salad with shrimp,
– smoked tomato hake,
– chocolate cake,
– currant creme brulee.

You can order wine from the extensive list or enjoy one of the bright summer cocktails/mocktails as an accompaniment to the dishes.

The spacious bright hall accommodates up to 150 guests. A special treat is to book a table by the large window and enjoy your meal overlooking the bay, with breathtaking sunsets in the evenings. The restaurant also is equipped with a stage where various concerts are regularly held.
