Ilzenberg Manor, Lithuania
Founded by Baron Bernd Kerszenboeck I of the Livonian Order, the manor was first mentioned in 1515. Throughout its history, it has changed its hosts several times and survived wars and important historical events.
Today, it has been fully restored and is considered one of the most well-maintained in the Baltics.
The grounds include a late-classical palace and an English-style park with ponds, alleys, and sculptures.
There is also the “Island of Love” accessible by a pontoon bridge. It is believed that if you speak words of love there, your love will stay with you forever.
The manor is located between two lakes and is ideal for peaceful walks for the whole family.
There is an entrance fee applied.
