Joniskelis Manor, Lithuania
The Joniskelis manor complex was first mentioned in historical sources in 1684.
Being a family residence of the noble Karpiai family, it was considered one of the largest and most beautiful estates in Lithuania.
The main building was erected in the classical style with baroque elements.
On the territory of the estate, there is a park with about 120 different types of trees.
Today, the estate houses the Lithuanian Agricultural Institute and the Joniskelis Museum of Local Lore.
