Kampus Restaurant in Tartu, Estonia

Inspired by Copenhagen and college campuses, Kampus is a gastronomic “city” of unique concepts embracing a wide range of food experiences, from burgers to gourmet oysters.

At first glance, everything is simple here: humble comfortable furniture, large windows, and a spacious bright room with a bar area. But if you look closely, above the cash register area you will see three different names. After taking a seat at the table, you will also be offered three menus. That’s because Kampus is three restaurants in one that features different styles of food.

Uulits specializes in street food. Here, you can order burgers, wraps, potato snacks and nuggets. Patties and all the sauces are prepared on-site and add special vibes to the dishes. We recommend trying the burger with salted caramel and potatoes with truffle mayonnaise.

Kauss appeals to those who are keen on a healthy lifestyle. The menu includes various salads and poke bowls with rice, couscous and quinoa, chicken, duck or shrimp. Poke bowls are lactose-free; vegan options are present on the menu too. Everything is prepared from the freshest ingredients. We recommend trying poke bowls with chicken and crispy duck.

Chef’s Corner is into more sophisticated dishes such as oysters, beef tartare, tom kha, gnocchi, etc. The menu changes twice a year. Chef’s Corner is a great place for a leisurely lunch or dinner, especially if you don’t mind sharing food. We recommend trying oysters, padron pepper rolls and kataifi shrimp.

The bar offers a huge selection of drinks, including cocktails, making Kampus a great place to hang out with friends in the evening. Be sure to try Virgin Marzipan and Passion Margarita non-alcoholic cocktails, they are excellent both in terms of looks and tastes.
