Lazdukalni Dendrological Park (Špakovska Park), Latvia
One of the most beautiful parks in Latvia is located in Ogre, being home to many plants, including more than 400 species of trees and shrubs.
The idea to establish a park came to Janis Špakovskis and his wife Benita in 1975.
At the highest point of the territory, there is an observation tower. To get to it, you need to climb 100 steps. Nearby there is a small 70-meter long bog trail.
The park has picnic areas, which makes it a great place for outdoor recreation.
