Back in times, Liepaja used to be a hub of herring sorting for the whole Europe. An interactive exhibition dedicated to this topic takes place in an old warehouse where you can learn about the history of Liepaja and 3 quality categories applied to the fish selection process. While exploring the exposition, visitors are welcome to practice mastering sea knots, solve riddles and taste herring grilled in paper according to an old recipe. The exhibition is expected to last for 4 months.
