Lumen Restaurant. Tallinn, Estonia

A new restaurant in the heart of Tallinn, near Rataskaevu Square opened in October 2025, having already won the hearts of guests with its warm hospitality and excellent dishes made with local ingredients.

Despite the sophisticated interior and exquisite presentation of the dishes, the guests are treated to casual cuisine made with familiar ingredients at affordable prices. The menu concept combines minimalist Scandinavian cuisine with the warmth of Slavic traditions. This cozy place is perfect for a family dinner or a romantic date.

The beautiful dining area is decorated in calming colors that perfectly complement the natural wood. All this creates a cozy, tranquil atmosphere to leisurely enjoy a delicious meal.

The seasonal menu is updated twice a year. Each dish is developed by a professional team led by Mark Keerd, winner of the 2025 Michelin Young Chef Award, and Kristina Denissova. Whatever you choose, it will be a magnificent combination of pure flavors, prepared with local, seasonal ingredients, and attention to detail, which is a signature trait of the Lumen team highly appreciated by the guests.

We recommend trying:

– baked salmon,
– shrimp with potato chips,
– pumpkin cream soup,
– venison with aronia and red wine sauce,
– pike perch,
– sour cream and quince dessert,
– strawberry and pepper dessert.

Dishes can be selected from the à la carte menu or a tasting menu (€75 per person). Complement your choice with drinks from the extensive wine list, which features an excellent selection, as well as cocktails, liqueurs, and non-alcoholic beverages. The tasting menu can be complemented with a three-wine pairing package.

During the holidays, the Lumen team delights guests with special tasting menus. The Christmas menu is available until December 30th (€45/person), and on December 31st, you can enjoy a New Year’s selection (€89/person).
