Miezite Pond in Jelgava, Latvia
In 2020, a nature observation trail was opened on the outskirts of Jelgava.
Located on the floodplain meadows of the Svete River, it reaches a length of about 1.6 km.
The trail is established at a height of 1.5 meters and is equipped with net railings for the safety of visitors.
Meanders formed in the water meadows are great spots to explore various forms of flora.
You may park your car on the side of the Miezites road, in front of the pond.
