The Botanical Garden in Salaspils was founded in 1956, and houses the largest collection of plants in the Baltics: more than 14,000 species. In 2015, a greenhouse complex was opened here. From April to October, seedling fairs are held 2 times a month.
You can also reserve a picnic area or a gazebo. Fans of outdoor activities can take along rollers or bicycles, and skis in winter.
