This season, the Valmiera Tourist Information Center has tailored a new picturesque route for cycling enthusiasts. It forms a circle and runs along the landscapes of Valmiera and Beverina. It starts from the tourist center and runs along the banks of the Gauja River through the Pauku pine trees and the spot where the Abuls flows into the Gauja. The river crossing is represented by a temporary footbridge; the route is available from April to October as from late autumn to early spring, the footbridge is removed.
Further, the route winds along forest paths past Kalite spring and Brengulu brewery back to Valmiera. The surface of the cycle route: asphalt, soil and gravel.
