New “Feel Jugla” trail, Latvia
A 250-meter-long wooden trail has appeared on Lake Jugla in Riga upon the initiative of local residents with the support of the Riga City Council.
The trail is located near the village of Strazdumuiža, where blind residents of Riga live, whose needs were also taken into account when designing it.
For safety, the trail is equipped with railings; there are interactive models of the animals of Lake Jugla established along.
A stand with information about the animals of the lake has been installed at the observation deck with benches nearby for you to rest and enjoy the view.
