Observation terrace by Gauja. Valmiera, Latvia
Designed by a talented architect of a new Latvian wave, Didzis Jaunzems, this circle-shaped terrace is built from planks of larch with a curvy surface. It is just meant for safe indulgence with stunning local views.
The structure is protected from flooding and allows to admire the beauty of the Gauja River at any time of the year.
A walking path through the park provides easy access to the site, including that with strollers and bicycles.
