Observation Tower on Zirgu Island. Latvia

The tower is part of the Zirgu Island Nature Trail. The route runs along a narrow dam almost to the middle of the lake, where the tower is located.

The tower is 10 meters high and offers a view of Lake Liepāja.

The lake is unique and is included in the Natura 2000 network as an important natural area. It is home to many waterfowl, making it one of the best places to observe them.

A trip here can also be combined with fishing or water recreation. Boats and pedal boats are available for rent in the area around the lake.
