Ogre River Promenade, Latvia
A landscaped embankment along the Ogre River is approximately 2 km long.
At the beginning of the promenade, there is a pedestrian bridge across the river, considered the largest arched bridge in Latvia.
In 2017, wooden pedestrian bridges, approximately 100 meters long, were installed here. They are operating only during the summer and are removed for the winter.
During the promenade, you can see art objects: the sculpture “Tree of Love” and “Memories of…”. There are also playgrounds and outdoor exercise equipment.
This is a popular place for walking, jogging, and cycling.
