The estate is a historic site existing since the 16th century. Initially, it included a wooden manor house and outbuildings.

The ensemble of the Oleru manor, which still exists today, was established in the 18th century.

In the 80s and 90s, elements of early classicism were added. The master’s house was decorated with wall paintings.

Today, wall paintings are recognized as a state monument of art.

Since 1989, the manor has been owned by two wood sculptors, Karlis Zemitis and Janis Cīrulis.

Tours around the estate and the park are now available. The distance from Riga to Oleru is 146 km.
