Pakruojis manor and flower festival in Pakruojis, Lithuania

Pakruojis manor is one of the largest and most beautiful in the Baltics. This is an actual palace with a huge park featuring an inn, a stable, a costume room, a brewery, a torture museum and much more.

The major building in the center represents an old mansion with terraces, balconies, pillars, a fireplace room, a restaurant for private events and guest rooms. Rooms here can be booked, for example, you can stay in the luxurious room of a baron or baroness.

You can spend the whole day at Pakruojis Manor:
– dive into the atmosphere of the 19th century by means of an outfit from the local wardrobe;
– ride horses or rent a carriage to enjoy a promenade through the park;
– watch one of theatrical performances regularly shown to guests;
– see how beer is made according to old recipes in a local brewery and taste the drink;
– walk around the picturesque park and explore the wind mill;
– have a bite in the inn and taste the typical dishes of northern Lithuania; the portions in the restaurant are very generous and incredibly tasty.

Before the first frost, the Pakruojis estate hosts a flower festival inspired by William Shakespeare’s play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” These are thousands of colorful summer flowers, compositions and flower “carpets”, as well as impressive sculptures up to 6 meters high.

The distance to the manor from Vilnius is 180 km, and from Riga — only 140 km.

Entrance ticket to the festival: from 12 € to 16€ when buying online, and from 14€ to 18€ when buying at the place.
