Panevėžys is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania located on both banks of the Nevėžis River.
The city has preserved the architectural style of the 19th–20th centuries. Here, you can explore old buildings, walk along narrow streets and admire historical sculptures.
One of the main recreation areas is Senvage Park with the unofficial symbol of the city – the “Cancer” sculpture. There is also a monument to Mike Tyson in the park, depicting the boxer playing chess.
