Blacksmith’s Cave (Vaidava Cave), Latvia
Blacksmith’s Cave is a protected geological natural monument and a biotope of European importance. It is located on the territory of the Gauja National Park, on the right bank of the Striku River. The length of the cave is 46 meters, the height is up to 2 meters.
According to a legend, a blacksmith once lived in this cave. Sometimes a stream emerges in the cave.
Close to the cave, there is a recreation area equipped.
