Floating islands in the Alejas pond. Vainode, Latvia
Being an artificially created basin, Alejas Pond is a private property. While cleaning the pond, the owner kept small islets, creating a unique landscape.

Near the pond, there is the Wolzbach mountain with an observation deck and a well-equipped resting place.

At the other end of the pond, you will find the Lielbata spring, the largest clean spring in Latvia.
