Radharanė Restaurant. Vilnius, Lithuania
This vegetarian and vegan restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes prepared with plant-based ingredients. The first of its kind in Lithuania, it has been operating since 2002.
Being a family-run project, it has three branches, two in Vilnius and one in Kaunas. The restaurants share a common concept but differ in their interiors and some of the dishes on the menu. We visited Radharanė in Vilnius, located in the Ozas shopping center. The restaurant has been operating since the shopping center opened and is a fan-favorite among locals.
The extensive menu offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes: appetizers, soups, main courses, and desserts. Most of the dishes are inspired by Indian cuisine, so you can expect bold flavor combinations. The menu also includes children’s options.
We recommend trying:
– falafel,
– potato pancakes,
– spinach and paneer stew,
– desserts.
The restaurant always offers fresh cakes and sweets produced according to homemade recipes. The fresh bread made with unleavened dough by Grandma’s recipe is also very popular.
Original drinks deserve a special mention here: they look like cocktails, but are very healthy and have a unique flavor. For example, during the winter season, the non-alcoholic mulled wine made with ginger juice is in high demand.
Radharanė offers a lunch special on weekdays. Every day, you can expect fresh, homemade dishes prepared with seasonal vegetables.
The owners pay close attention to the selection of ingredients and the atmosphere in the kitchen: they ensure that the food is prepared with only positive energy.
