Ragakapa Natural Park in Jurmala, Latvia

Ragakapa Natural Park was established to preserve the dunes and the diversity of nature on the seashore.

This is a specially protected natural area where you can explore rare species of plants, animals, insects and fungi. Among the protected species, there are sand carnation, forest lark and black woodpecker.

Residing on the 150-hectare area, the park is located at an altitude of 17 meters above sea level.

Due to its significant natural value, the park is included in the list of protected areas of the European Union NATURA 2000.

Two trails in the park are aimed at acquainting the visitors with the natural resources of this territory.
