Raunas Staburags in Rauna, Latvia
The only natural site of this kind in Latvia, it represents a stone structure that looks like a porous sponge covered with rare species of moss and spring water flowing from above.
In winter, it freezes and turns into a snow slide with icicles. It is especially beautiful this winter. The Rauna River flows under the cliff, and when it freezes, you can get closer to the cliff.
It will take you 10 minutes on foot to get from the parking lot to Staburags.
