Reidi tee opened at the end of 2019, having become one of the favorite places for families in Tallinn, featuring a promenade along the seaside, playgrounds, a new bike route and recreation areas. Being once a wasteland, it is now a popular sunset viewing spot with 230 benches, 8 playgrounds and 64 equipment items for sports and games. The project cost 43 million euros in total; the reconstruction took about 18 months.
