Restaurant Radharanė. Vilnius, Lithuania

Radharanė vegetarian and vegan restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes made from plant-based ingredients. It is the first restaurant of this kind in Lithuania and has been operating since 2002.

This is a family project of three restaurants, two of which are located in Vilnius and one in Kaunas. The restaurants are united by a concept, but they still differ in interior and some dishes on the menu. We visited Radharanė in Vilnius on Gediminas Avenue. This venue has a large, bright, cozy hall divided into several zones. For the youngest guests, there is a children’s corner with toys.

The extensive menu offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes: appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts. The recipes are developed by the owner and inspired by the dishes she tried during her travels. Most of the dishes are based on Indian cuisine, so you can expect amazing combinations of flavors. The menu also includes dishes for children.

We recommend trying:
– assorted appetizers,
– kofta (breaded cheese balls with spinach, served with rice and fresh salad),
– cheese roast (served with rice and fresh salad),
– drinks.

The drinks are worth a special praise: Radharanė offers original drinks that look like cocktails, but are based on healthy ingredients and a unique taste. For example, non-alcoholic hot wine made with ginger juice is popular in the winter season.

The owners pay great attention to the selection of products and the atmosphere in the kitchen, making sure that the food is prepared in a good mood only. Guests feel this, and many become regular customers.

In the restaurant on Gediminas Avenue, you will also find a section with vegetarian and vegan products that can be used to prepare healthy meals at home, such as milk, tofu, coconut cream, various drinks and desserts, as well as signature Radharanė sauces.
