From July 29th until August 2nd, Rezekne is going to celebrate its 735th anniversary. Fairs, shows, concerts and parties, tours around the GORS Latgale Embassy, a musical picnic, an open-air cinema evening, sports competitions and other activities will take place.
Balloon flights are scheduled from Friday to Sunday. The traditional festive procession has been canceled, but city residents are encouraged to greet Rezekne by posting their photos and videos on social media with #Rēzeknei735 hashtag.
