Reval Café is an Estonian chain with a varied menu, its own brand of coffee and fresh desserts. In total, the chain includes 13 cafes, two of which are located in Tartu, and the remaining branches being in Tallinn and Viimsi. We visited a cafe on the Riga highway in Tartu.

The spacious hall stands out with a modern interior, comfortable furniture and plenty of light. The cafe has a children’s corner with a table and coloring books, toys and a TV with cartoons. The terrace is open during the warmer months.

This is a great place for breakfast as on weekdays the cafe is open from 7:30. The signature omelette with Parmesan cheese and fresh vegetables here is a fan favourite, which we recommend trying too. There are also cereals, English breakfast, poached eggs and other meals. In 2023, Reval Café cafes received the Wolt Restaurant Awards 2023 in the Breakfast category.

The lunch menu also suggests a wide variety of dishes, from salads to burgers, vegan options and special children’s treats. After a hearty lunch, you can enjoy a cup of coffee made from roasted Sicilian coffee beans and accompanied by a fresh dessert, if you fancy one. By the way, the chain is known for its signature gelato, which also deserves your attention.

The cafe suggests that its regular customers take advantage of the Reval Café Smile loyalty program bonuses. Claim a 5% bonus of each order and use these bonus points to pay for your meals. Loyalty program members also have access to special offers and a 15% discount on cakes within 5 days before their birthday.

Every last Saturday of the month, Riia Reval Café hosts mental health cafe in collaboration with NGO Peaasjad, when volunteers trained in the field of mental health come to the cafe to provide support and professional assistance to any willing visitor.
