Rimi Olimpiskais center is a modern sports complex offering various types of physical activity for adults and children.
GREAT NEWS! The local gym (Spēka zāle) has been completely renovated. The hall is open again, waiting to delight its guests. At your disposal, there are power and cardio machines, dumbbells, balancing surfaces, TRX suspension systems, and other equipment. On the spot, you will find qualified trainers who supervise the process. It is possible to sign up for individual sessions. What has changed? All equipment has been replaced with new, modern machinery; LED lighting has been installed in the hall and expanded. There are many updates, but the price remains the same: €6 per visit. Admission also includes a visit to the recreation area with four types of baths.
For an extra fee, you can visit the pool. On weekdays, you can visit the large pool, and on weekends you can relax in one of the small pools with cascading and jet massages.
The pool complex at Rimi Olimpiskais is by far the most up-to-date in Riga. In the large pool, there are six lanes of 25 m and three 50-m each with a gradually increasing depth from 1.3 m to 2.3 m. For clients’ convenience, the lanes are divided for swimming at a slow, medium, and fast pace. There are also group water aerobics classes and swimming lessons for children and adults.
There are two 10-meter pools where group classes are held for moms-to-be, seniors, and toddlers from 6 months to 8 years old. Children will fancy a visit to the water play area with slides and fountains, and adults may take advantage of the recreation area with 4 types of baths.
On the complex’s ground floor, there is a cafe where you can relax after a workout or wait for your child. There is a convenient parking lot available at the center at an extra charge. If you regularly visit the sports center, you might consider purchasing a parking pass. You can also leave your car in the city parking on the nearby streets.
