Biržai is a region famous for its beer. This is where the largest family brewery in Lithuania is located, where several generations of brewers have been working.

The brewery began its work in 1991. From a small family business it has grown into a large enterprise: today it sells 5 million liters of beer per year, 20% of which is exported worldwide. Beer is brewed according to a traditional recipe, and water is extracted from a 136-meter well equipped on the territory of the brewery.

The history of the brewery is presented in the Rinkuškiai Museum designed as an old brewer’s barn.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu of dishes paired with beer. The menu includes dishes with beer used as an ingredient: spicy beer soup, salad of beets cooked in dark beer with goat cheese, cashews, lard and grapes, beef tenderloin steak with dark beer pepper sauce, etc. The restaurant’s interior is classic, but with a spirit of history as its decorative elements reflect the history of the Biržai region.

The two-story restaurant seats up to 200 guests and is perfect for celebrating birthdays and other important dates; tables can also be booked for business lunches. In summer, there are three outdoor terraces.

The brewery offers tours and various beer programs. For example, you may visit a brewery and a museum, have lunch at a restaurant and taste 8 different beers with gourmet appetizers prepared by the chef.

The “Exclusive” program will be interesting for adventurous groups: you are divided into two teams, and at the end of the ritual, you will be tested if you were able to apply the knowledge you have just acquired. A total of 6 programs are available, as well as a separate sightseeing tour of the brewery.

Tour are available in English, Russian and Lithuanian. The programs are held for groups of 10 people, but there is also an opportunity to taste local beer for those who come to the restaurant individually.

There is a specialty beer store next to the brewery.
