Riverside Restaurant in Kuldiga, Latvia

This cozy restaurant in one of the loveliest cities in Latvia, Kuldiga, makes every guest feel like home and get delighted with a wide selection of delicious dishes of European cuisine.

The Riverside Restaurant offers views over the most famous landmark of the city, the old brick bridge, and within just a five-minute walk from the restaurant, you will find Ventas Rumba, the widest waterfall in Europe.

Guests are greeted by welcoming staff who’ve been working here since the first day of opening. The waiters will be happy to help you select a dish to suit your taste and a beverage to accompany it. Chef Janis Mitrevics is in charge of the guests always being able to try something new.

The seasonal menu changes twice a year and offers a wide variety of dishes, many of which cooked in a special coal oven adding extra kicks to meat, fish, and vegetables. You can watch the whole process from the hall as the restaurant has an open kitchen.

Guests can choose from not only the regular types of appetizers, salads, soups, meat and fish dishes, but also signature dishes, for example, special Riverside stew and in-house panna cotta.

We recommend trying:

– vegetable chips served with garlic sauce and tomato salsa,
– grilled pork ribs,
– Riverside passion signature cocktail,
– non-alcoholic mojito.

In summer, you can enjoy food and drinks on the spacious terrace. In high season, the venue hosts various concerts, for example, this year, concerts of famous musicians such as Astro’n’out, Gacho, Triānas parks and other performers will be held. There are other events taking place throughout the year: festive dinners on St Valentine’s Day and March 8th, pancake brunches, etc.

The restaurant can be booked to celebrate a special occasion: its premises can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people.
