Riga Gastromarket

The first gastro market in the Baltics has opened in the grocery pavilion of the Riga Central Market. Its concept is popular in America and in Europe: all dishes are cooked on the spot, in front of visitors, and each stall offers its own menu. If you go out in a big company, you all can order favourite dishes here and there, and then sit down at one table.

There are more than 20 cafe & restaurants with food for every taste and purse. For example, you can buy 10 dumplings for €3 or some Asian dishes from fresh fish for €15, a small bun for €1 or a sweet cold bowl with nuts and fruit for €6.50. This place offers a variety of burgers and pizzas, soups and grilled snacks, hot dogs and sushi, street food and home-made dishes.
